Meeting for Freedom Communications postponed until next month

A meeting regarding the bankruptcy of Freedom Communications Holdings Inc. was postponed Monday. The meeting was sought by Freedom's creditors, but because Freedom had not filed financial statements, the attorney in charge of the meeting delayed it until next month. 

A spokesperson for Freedom said the company would file a bankruptcy plan and disclosure statements before the end of the month. Freedom initially filed for bankrtupcy last month. The company's holdings invlude newspapers and television stations across Texas.
