Eddie Bauer Files for Bankruptcy

Clothing retailer Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc filed for bankruptcy protection on June 17. Now the company has struck an agreement with CCMP Capital Advisors LLC for a buyout at $202 million.

As part of the agreement, CCMP will retain most of the 371 stores and their employees. Eddie Bauer is hoping to continue normal business operations during the bankruptcy.
